So you've downloaded Photovista3.
CONGRATULATIONS!
What now?
This page shows you how to use the 3D photo viewer in Photovista3.
1/ The installation process will have placed a new "shortcut" onto your desktop. It will have a little picture of a landscape with the phrase "Photovista Panorama 3,0" underneath. DOUBLE CLICK on the picture to open it.
2/ CLICK on "File" in the top left corner of the box, once the program has loaded up.
3/ CLICK on "Open Panorama" - it's the third option down.
4/ Where it says "Look in:", find "My Documents" and CLICK on it, then find "My Pictures" and find the image file name of the pamorama you would like to look at. It will have the letters ".JPG" after the name, to help you find it.
5/ Now CLICK on "Open". The panorama you have chosen will appear on the screen, along with another box in the centre. This box will ask you if you want to view the panorama as a sphere or a cylinder. Cylinder is usually best, so just CLICK on the "OK" button to continue.
6/ Now comes the REALLY CLEVER BIT! At the tope left of the box, CLICK on "View", then CLICK on "View 3D mode" and see the image as though you were actually there!
7/ By moving the cross-hairs on the screen up, down left or right, you can turn your head to look in those directions. The further you push the cross-hairs in any direction, the quicker your head will move. You can even make yourself dizzy as you would in real life!
